Partnerships and Philanthropy

Trusts and foundations, corporates and philanthropists play a vital role in enabling our work to happen. As a partner of Humanity & Inclusion UK, you will be helping people with disabilities and vulnerable populations around the world.

We are always looking to build long-term, innovative partnerships with Trusts, Foundations and Corporates that share our values of inclusion and accessibility. By working together, we are able to create lasting impact and to ensure that the diverse needs of people with disabilities and vulnerable populations are included in humanitarian response and development projects. These transformative partnerships can take many forms, including monetary donations, pro bono support, in kind gifts and fundraising events. Some of our current partners can be found at the bottom of this page.

Trusts and Foundations

Your Trust could help with the delivery of poverty relief, accessible healthcare, enabling inclusive education, bringing life-changing rehabilitation to people with disabilities in remote areas, or help to clear landmines. We will keep you up to date with the progression of projects and what difference your support is making to the most vulnerable, in line with your reporting requirements.

Corporate partners

We find that the diversity of the private sector suits the breadth and integrity of Humanity & Inclusion’s work across the world. You could be the organisation that opens door to help people struggling to gain accessible work to find a new chapter in their lives through inclusive employment, to lift families out of poverty, or to enable children with disabilities and learning difficulties to attend school and be valued there.

Whether you’re considering a donation, payroll giving, match funding, pro bono support or something else, the help of you and your employees will make a difference. Please do be in touch if you would like to get involved.

Larger personal donations

If you are seeking to give a larger gift to Humanity & Inclusion, please do let us know. We’d love to work with you to make sure that your unique contribution is used where the need is greatest.

Some of our current partners:

People’s Postcode Lottery

In 2021, for the third year running, Humanity & Inclusion has been granted an Award from Postcode Global Trust, with funds raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. These vital funds are supporting the work of our physiotherapists, orthopaedic technicians and psychologists in rehabilitation centres, in the community, in hospitals and refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon, as well as our Stop Bombing Civilians campaign.

Fondation Ipsen

Fondation Ipsen has been generously supporting our humanitarian logistics work, through the Logistics Vulnerability Laboratory, since 2019. This project applies science to better understand how humanitarian actors and decision-makers can use logistical solutions to reverse isolation and help underserved and threatened populations to meet their basic needs.

Since 2020, our global logistics arm, Atlas Logistique, along with Fondation Ipsen, has been implementing this innovative approach to humanitarian logistics in Haiti. This has resulted in the integration of the Logistics Vulnerability Index in humanitarian planning and the prioritisation of vulnerable communities, by government and other NGOs.

Ajahma Charitable Trust

The Ajahma Charitable Trust generously supports our work with people living in poverty in Bangladesh to enable rewarding and sustainable livelihood activities. They have also supported our humanitarian logistics project in Mali – ensuring that we can get aid to those who need it most, as quickly as possible.

Previously, for three years, the Ajahma Charitable Trust supported our Syria Crisis projects in Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq. This helped us to ensure that those affected by the crisis, receive vital emergency aid, essential physical and functional rehabilitation, psychosocial support, and risk education.

Corporate partner

Euromonitor International

Euromonitor International has been supporting our Inclusive Education project in Burkina Faso since 2019. This allows us to continue identifying disabled children who are not enrolled in school in Burkina Faso, and supporting them towards a life in education. For many this means providing rehabilitation and/or emotional support as well as classroom adaptations and specialised teacher training.

Previously, Humanity & Inclusion UK partnered with Euromonitor International on our Maternal & Child Health project in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Corporate partner

Jefferies

Jefferies has been generously supporting our Covid-19 emergency response through their employees, loyal clients and supporting shareholders fundraising activities, since May 2020. Their generous donations have contributed to our teams’ implementation of more than 160 projects to assist people affected by the COVID-19 crisis in almost 50 countries where we work, including Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bolivia, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Myanmar.

In 2021, Jefferies also supported our work assisting people who were injured by the earthquake in Haiti. Prior to the arrival of HI’s emergency team, the hospitals did not have the resources to offer rehabilitation services to the injured, and the rehabilitation centre was understaffed and unable to meet the rise in demand.
