Handicap International staff members regularly offer their insight to the media on topics related to disability. We have a wide range of expert spokespeople available for interviews with UK and international journalists.
Our press team can facilitate access to Handicap International staff and projects and provide a wide range of high quality reports, case studies, photos and video suitable for broadcast.
For journalists planning trips to countries in which Handicap International works, we may be able to provide information before travelling, support with logistics, and briefings on arrival, along with access to our staff, projects, and beneficiaries on the ground. Please note that, as a charity, our capacity to provide this level of support is limited. Therefore, we prefer to develop relationships with trusted media partners that have a proven track record of impactful, high quality coverage.
In all our work with the media, our overriding priority is always the protection of our beneficiaries - the disabled and vulnerable people who we support through our projects around the world.
For more information, please get in touch with our press team by emailing media[at]hi-uk.org or calling +44 (0)870 774 3737.
