Promoting the rights of people with disabilities

Workshop on promoting rights, Egypt
© Handicap International
Handicap International has been working in Egypt since 1987, when we set up a rehabilitation programme for children with disabilities and their families in partnership with Caritas. Handicap International subsequently launched other projects in the fields of physiotherapy and the fitting of artificial limbs, and provided assistance to people with intellectual disabilities. Currently our projects are focused on promoting the rights of people with disabilities.
