Handicap International recently ran a project in Chad, a country severely affected by a series of conflicts. The presence of numerous mines and unexploded devices made it necessary to carry out demining operations in affected areas and to raise the awareness of the population.

Handicap International runs mine risk education and demining programmes in several countries, and we put our experience and expertise at the service of local authorities to limit the risk of accidents.
