Payroll Giving is a simple and effective way to regularly donate to Handicap International UK (straight from your gross salary, before tax is deducted), and to receive immediate tax relief of up to £5 for every £10 donated.

Regular donations help us to plan more effectively and reach even more disabled and vulnerable people who would otherwise be forgotten.

The benefits to you

  • Immediate tax relief on charitable giving as donations are deducted before tax is calculated.
  • Easy and efficient way to donate to a charity you care about.
  • All administration is handled by the employer.

You can find out more about payroll giving and its benefits in our Supporter’s Guide to Payroll Giving (pdf, 551k) .

How to sign up

All you need to do is check with the payroll department of your company to make sure that your employer has a payroll giving scheme in place. If your company does have a scheme, simply fill out our Payroll Giving Form (Word, 394k) and take it to your payroll department. You can also ask if your employer has a matched giving scheme, or would consider setting one up.

If your employer does not have a payroll giving scheme in place, they can find out more about how to get started in our Employer’s Guide to Payroll Giving (pdf, 793k). In the meantime, you may consider setting up a direct debit as an alternative way of giving to Handicap International UK.

Please do let us know that you have signed up for payroll giving. Simply email a copy of the completed form to us at supportercare@hi-uk.org, or post it to:
Supporter Care Team, Handicap International UK, 27 Broadwall, London, SE1 9PL.

If you have any questions about payroll giving, please get in touch by calling 0870 774 3737 or email supportercare@hi-uk.org.
