Change the life of a child with club foot

£32 could enable a child with club foot to walk again.
In Cambodia, one in every 500 children is born with a club foot. If left untreated, the malformed bones, muscles and tendons can mean walking becomes difficult or often impossible. But there is a simple solution.
We have been using the Ponseti technique with outstanding results. First, the foot is plastered into the best possible position and this is checked and replaced every week for eight weeks. Then special shoes and a splint are used to keep the foot in the correct position for a further six months. After this, the use of the shoes and splint are gradually reduced until the child can stand up again on its own.
A gift of £32 could buy the plaster, shoes, and initial treatment. So buy this gift and give a child a bright future!
